We didn't even know anything about the turmoil in Mumbai until my mother-in-law told us when we woke up this morning. India is about to have elections and there are some groups stirred up hoping to impact the outcome of those elections. Pune is a small (by Indian standards) and likelihood of us being in danger is minimal.
We are taking precautions and are being safe.
We are looking forward to our first Thanksgiving in Pune.
I'll post more as we know it.

Really glad to hear that you are doing okay. Miss you guys though. We had the ladies Christmas party on 12/1 and it just wasn't the same without you. The planning meeting for 09 is scheduled for 1/10 at Shirley's so if you can make it we'd love to have you stop by. Just kidding, obviously. Take care of yourself--I have the feeling you'll get the hang of everything pretty quickly--just give yourself a little time. Let me know if you get any good recipes from your domestic--we all love Indian food.

Hey Dawn - Checking in from Wisconsin - We're getting snow today (12/3). Braden is hoping to get out of school early so he can spend the afternoon sledding...oh to be 6 again.
